Analisis Batuan Gunungapi di Daerah Banyuwangi dan Sekitarnya, Provinsi Jawa Timur Berdasarkan Aspek Geokimia

Batuan gunungapi (lava) di daerah Banyuwangi dan sekitarnya merupakan litologi penyusun Formasi Batuampar dan Merubetiri yang berumur Oligo-Miosen, serta terdapat pada batuan gunungapi Kuarter. Sebaran batuan gunungapi tua mendominasi daerah pantai selatan, sedangkan yang lebih muda (Kuarter) terdapat di bagian utara daerah penelitian. Hasil analisis geokimia 8 (delapan) sampel batuan gunungapi umumnya berjenis basal yang berasal dari seri magma toleit, bersifat metaluminous dan berasal dari kedalaman antara 52,26-169,41 km. Data dan informasi ilmiah analisis geokimia dapat digunakan untuk penelitian, pendidikan dan kegiatan geowisata berdasarkan pemahaman geologi yang lengkap.Katakunci: Banyuwangi, batuan gunungapi, geokimia, lava
